COME AND MAKE A DEAL
I am an experienced Mediator based in Prague and Brno and I would be happy to help you resolve your dispute.

WHAT IS MEDIATION
Mediation is a great way to resolve disputes in your personal life, Workplace or Business Relationship. The main advantage is that only the parties involved in the dispute decide on the final solution and there is no overriding authority or influence from a position of power. Mediation is not public and I, as a mediator, am bound by the law of confidentiality.
WHEN TO OPT FOR MEDIATION
When you want to resolve a dispute quickly, efficiently and avoid litigation. When you want to avoid escalation of the problem. When looking for a more creative personal solution than litigation.
WHAT DISPUTES CAN I RESOLVE THROUGH MEDIATION
Disputes in civil life, divorce, child care, division of property, disputes between neighbours, disputes in the workplace, disputes with a subordinate, employee or manager. Disputes in business relationships, between partners, suppliers or customers. We can resolve all disputes in the languages of Czech, English, German, and Dutch.
HOW THE MEDIATOR DEALS WITH THE PROBLEM
The mediator does not have to be an expert in the particular field. The task is to guide you through the negotiations and to ask relevant questions so that both parties to the dispute realise what they can potentially lose or gain upon acceptance of a decision.
FLEXIBILITY
Mediation takes place totally in accordance to your needs. It is up to you how many sessions are required. You do not have to adhere to any specific court deadlines or formal procedures.
HOW MEDIATION TAKES PLACE
INTRODUCTORY MEETING
The introductory meeting can be initiated by you, the court, or any party, for example the employer. I will introduce you to what mediation is and what you can expect from the procedure ongoing. We will sign an agreement to continue.
MEDIATION
The first step is to provide the mediator with full details of the dispute. Each of the parties involved can comment without interruption. In the next step the parties will agree on the relevant individual topics that will be discussed in future sessions.
TERMINATION OF MEDIATION
The mediator manages the meeting or meetings and helps the parties to find a solution that is beneficial to all under the circumstances. We will then write a mediation agreement together listing and explaining the arrangements, rights and obligations of the parties involved. This will all then be agreed.
MY STYLE OF MEDIATION
While training as a Lawyer, I watched clients judge and yet not fully understand each other. Often even the winning party left disappointed due to not actually achieving what it wanted. I saw people leave the court with the feeling they have not fully been heard, only with a judgement. The difference with mediation is that all parties leave with a solution that is fully understood and that has been worked out together. Therefore the resolution of disputes in the form of mediation is what appealed to me and why I decided to focus my career in this direction.

HOW MUCH DOES MEDIATION COST
Consultation 30 minutes – 500kc
Each situation is unique and may require a different amount of time
Family disputes – 1200kc per hour. Divided 50/50 between parties
Other disputes depend on the type and language of mediation. – 1500kc to 3000kc per hour
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE
On average 2 to 4 meetings are required, each lasting 2.5 to 3 hours
NOTE : MEDIATION IS ALWAYS QUICKER THAN EVEN THE SHORTEST TRIAL!
